A periodical allowance paid to people with a disability or their caregiver to take proper care of the person with disability.
Persons with disability sometimes are prescribed medications to cope with their physical, mental or intellectual challenges, which can sometimes be beyond the affordability of their parents or caregivers. Srijonshil is striving to support with such.
Living with a chronic illness or disability can be difficult. Many of the challenges are socially imposed—discrimination at work and school, stereotypes about sick or disabled people, dismissive attitudes toward disability rights, and access barriers. Therapy can help people deal with the social challenges of life with a disability or chronic illness. A compassionate therapist supports clients to identify their feelings and needs, talk to others about their experiences, advocate for themselves, and bridge disability-related relationship gaps. Therapy can also help families support members with a chronic disease or disability.
It is a fight kept between special needs children and a special needs person and it is no wonder that persons with disability and those caring for them require motivation. For special needs (or any) parent who might be feeling discouraged, worried, or just plain tired.
Women with disability are involved in Srijonshil’s training and production if they are capable and interested; which allows them to earn and have a sense of inclusion in the society as a normal person.
To enhance the participation of people with mobility impairment in society on an equal basis with others, Srijonshil donates wheelchairs to them.
